I am not that man you knew yesterday,

- Why Marbles My 1st blog attempt Was an answer to a promise I made to my eldest son when I handed him a jar full of marbles. The marbles were from a collection saved by my mother over the years of my childhood, and I must admit that if left to me I would have already lost all of my marbles. My son asked if I could jot down some of the ways these marbles were used I told him I would write down as much as I could remember and send it to him later. I am the supreme procrastinator of all time which resulted in him sending me a reminder at which time he promised not to lose my marbles and I reassured him that I would get busy and tell him and his children how the beautiful round bits of glass and minerals were used for amusement and competition. My Response2 blog arose out of frustration with the attitudes and lack of respect for our country, our traditional ethics, and educational system. Rons Lyrics and Poetry started just because my scribbles needed a place to rest.

IF YOU KNOCK THE DOOR WILL
OPEN

AS A PRODIGAL RETURNS I PRAY
FORGIVE ME LORD
FATHER I KNOW YOU WEPT
AS MY LIFE WENT ASTRAY
AS MY STEPS AND WEAKNESS
TOOK ME FURTHER AWAY
I KNOW NOW THE LASHES
THAT TORE THE SKIN FROM HIS
BACK
THORNS DRAWING BLOOD
UNTIL IT COVERED HIS HEAD
THE WEIGHT OF THE CROSS
AS HE STUMBLED AND FELL
FORGIVE ME LORD
FOR THE PAIN I ADDED THAT DAY
FATHER I KNOW YOU MUST HAVE
WEPT
AS YOU KNEW THE PRICE HE

FOR THE GRACE OF FORGIVENESS
THAT I PRAY FOR TODAY

PRAYER FOR GODS BLESSINGS AND CARE
May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced before. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, true and undying love for God.
